Damn, another bad grade on my history test. I'm going to have to get used to this... ;_;

Well, our next couple of chapters are on Islam, and from the introduction, I could make a few allusions. @_@ The dancer/bard thing reminded me of Final Fantasy Tactics and Ragnarok Online. Apparently, some young girls traveled to this one country in order to show off her dancing skills...but it turns out that there were many other girls who had skills faaaar better than her own. Okay, that part was from the poem, but basically, people with talent went across to show it off - and plenty of them got recognized for it. Maybe they weren't recognized all that well, but there were some artistic things made with the dancers and bards in mind. Verrrry interesting...

WOW, my mom's treating me like a slut just because of that hug! What the hell?? It wasn't even an embrace!

I don't get it! I understand my history lessons 100%, and yet I did really bad on that practice test. The lessons she gives us helps me understand the bonds between the civilizations but the test questions are REALLY REALLY IN DEPTH so the connections really only help with essay writing. Ahhh, I should have known... T_T;

Someone wanna tell me why teachers want to know more about us? Who hasn't gotten one of those "Oh, write me a letter about yourself" assignments? You people are lucky. So far, I had to create one, but now I have another one for ALGEBRA. SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHY I NEED TO WRITE AN AUTOBIOGRAPHY ABOUT MY MATH SKILLS. I mean, hey, my teacher is pretty awesome and is easy to understand, but an autobiography about my math history? That's just a little too weird. I can understand my English teacher wanting a letter describing myself to her, but an ALGEBRA II TEACHER? Ooookay...well, at least she can't get as weird as my awesome history teacher.

History teachers so far = awesome. Except Olsen in the eighth grade and Clarke in the sixth grade. But Rauch in the seventh and Herzig in the tenth? AWESOME. xD
